It is cruel, you know, that music should be so beautiful.  It has the beauty of loneliness of pain: of strength and freedom. The beauty of disappointment and never-satisfied love.  The cruel beauty of nature and everlasting beauty of monotony.  Benjamin Britten

I had very good intentions of posting this last week, but life, be is 1st or 2nd has a way of throwing a monkey wrench into your plans.  I could have dealt with one or the other but both were almost too much for this girl to bear.  No worries. I am, or I should say, I  will be fine…eventually. Just taking a few days to get my bearings.

Music has always played a large role in my life and has seen me through some very rough times.  Listening to music is soothing to my soul.  If I can’t find the words to say I will just throw a link to a song at cha 🙂

When I landed in Musiclandia I was perplexed at first.  Is it an art installation or do they hold concerts and dances there? Maybe it is both. I am afraid with such a hectic week I was unable to find out.  I promise to do better next time.

I think music in itself is healing.  It’s an explosive expression of humanity.  It’s something we are all touched by.  No matter what culture we’re from, everyone loves music.  Billy Joel

After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.  Aldous Huxley

If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer.  Let him step to the music which he hears, how ever measured or far away.  Henry David Thoreau

Most people live and die with their music unplayed.  They never dare to try.  Mary Kay Ash

Music is the mediator between the spiritual life and the sensual life.  Ludwig van Beethoven

I am hoping those of you in the blogging community that like to take photographs of regions will keep this one in mind.  I would love to see your interpretations.  I wanted to stay longer but time would not allow. When I am better and up to it I will return to really explore the region.  In the meantime, I have one last photograph to share and a link to my most favorite song. I love you all, will return soon, and Amen Ludwig, Amen.  TWMA 🙂
