Miss Kate

Miss K – 8 lbs 12.7 oz.  22 inches long

This is the first of many posts where I intend to share some of my 1st along with my 2nd life.

Not one to rush into anything hastily; I tend to weigh my option’s before making any decision, though lately there have been a few exceptions and that is not a bad thing either.

Miss K is no different from her grandma which is fine by me 🙂  Making her appearance one week late, she took her own sweet time during labor much to mom’s dismay.  ‘Babies come when they come.  There is no rushing them”, I told my daughter as she cried “I want it out now!  Please take it out!”. Secretly I was laughing inside (hoping I didn’t crack a smile too big), as this daughter is one who is always rushing here and there, always in a hurry, reminding me of someone else near and dear 🙂   Gooses the bee 🙂

Miss K is sure to be a tomboy. It’s a given as mom and grandma were and still are to this day, but we will see to it she is wearing a smidgen of lace somewhere on her person always lol.  My grammatude will rear its ugly head if anyone tells this child she can’t do that cause she is a girl.  You don’t want to go there…EVER!

Back when my daughter told me she was expecting I was ecstatic.  She looked surprised and stated ” I didn’t think it would be a big deal mommie considering this is your tenth”.  I smiled and hugged her close and whispered “but darlin this is my first from you”. She in turn snuggled closer and hugged me just a bit tighter. Welcome to the family Miss K.   Be kind to one another.  TWMA 🙂
