As stated in my last post two weeks ago, there was a 1st life project that demanded my attention. After much blood, sweat and tears Kate now models her one of a kind christening gown. Blood, as I pricked my fingers many times hand sewing beads and lace on, sweating bullets that I would actually get it done, and many tears thinking about the memories this gown now holds and how bad my hands hurt. Thankfully this post will be short.
Made of portions from wedding gowns of the most important women in her life (her mother and both grandmothers), Kate has a christening gown that hopefully will be worn by her children, and her children’s children. Each of us presented a handwritten note to Kate about how we met our life partners, and how and why we chose the gown we each wore on our special day. When she is older it is our hope Kate appreciates the history behind the gowns that were used to make her one of a kind christening gown. For now…Kate is not sure what all the fuss is about, as she is more concerned about catching some zzzzzzzzzzz’s, which is as it should be. Be kind to one another. TWMA 🙂
P.S. Do you think it bold of me to send a photo to little Prince George ?
