Be A Light

You have to find what sparks a light in you so that you, in your own way, can illumintate the world.

Frank Mills: Music Box Dancer

I have always admired professional dance, especially ballet. I love watching the pliés, pirouettes, grand jetés, and arabesques. In early November 2024, Sari-Sari released a Ballerina Music Box with several poses I purchased to blog about later. I was just waiting for the right moment, which has finally arrived.

Salt and Pepper has introduced the Swan Lake set for the current round of FaMESHed. Naturally, I fat-packed all of Maitreya’s items in the collection. It’s a beautiful set featuring PBR materials. The headpiece needed some minor adjustments, but that was an easy fix. Several options are available in the HUDs. Go grab a DEMO and have fun.

Be kind to one another. Find joy in all that you do. Till we meet again♥

All the lovely details:

Please see My Favorite Things for information regarding the bento mesh body, head, and accessories.

Stealthic: Twisted – Lends itself well to the headpiece

Salt&Pepper: SwanLake ballet pointes, headpiece, tutu available at FaMESHed through March 27th 2025. BOM warm-up tights are available at the Salt&Pepper store.

Amala: Abigail earrings

She is not fragile like a flower. She is fragile like a bomb.

Julio Iglesias and Sting: Fragile

I’ve been sporting a new look for a couple of months now, and I’m finally at a point in the makeover to discuss the changes. The last update to my appearance was a couple of years ago, so it was time for a refresh. I have a new life, and my look reflects that. While I’ve made a few subtle adjustments, I haven’t strayed too far from my original style.

I chose the Sunkiss tone from Amara Beauty for my face, using it on the Lelutka Avalon head, although it was initially created for the Briannon head. The face seems to suit Avalon perfectly. It’s a darker shade than I’ve used before, but it aligns well with my natural skin tone. I made minor tweaks to the nose and mouth, completing the look.

For my Maitreya body, I selected the Velour Picasso Babe skin, which offers options for both 5.3 and X, which was a great bonus. The only other change I made was to my eyebrows; I used Nuve again but opted for a softer arch this time.

I’m not really into makeup and prefer a natural look. I picked up a neutral lip color, smoky eyeshadow, and found an eyeliner I love. I’m set for a couple of years, maybe? Smiles.

Be kind to one another. Find joy in all you do. Till we meet again♥
