Bumblebees are not designed to fly. Its body is too heavy for its light wings, wings that should not be able to keep it in the air. Bumblebees refuse to accept their limitations . It flies in spite of what it has been told it cannot do. It knows its strength.
Today is my dearest friend and sister’s Rez Day. We’ve been through a lot together, her and I. When we are down we pick each other up, we revel in each others accomplishments, we tell our hopes and our dreams to one another knowing those secrets are safe with each other. When we need to vent we are there to listen and support, never to judge. Over the years I have watched her come in to her own and I am so damn proud of her. I cannot begin to describe just how much I love this woman.
