Rarely do I wear short hair in Second Life, but when spying this hairstyle at Sintiklia, I had to try it.  Loving it so much, I purchased two color options, Blacks & Whites, and Monochromes, which I am showcasing in the above photo.   While I still wear my long hair every day, I’ll reserve the short hair for photos.  Just an FYI, I recently had my hair cut in first after 3 1/2 years of growing it out.  It hung down past my waist, and I could almost sit on it. My hair grows fast, and over 12 inches was cut off and donated to Locks of Love.

I continue to wear the BOM skin Eve from Amara Beauty I discovered at the current round of Shiny Shabby.  I switched from the no brow to the dark brow option as the brow applier I was using, and my eyelash alpha interfered with each other.   I am not a fan of that look, which also brings me to another issue.  While trying on all my BOM makeup that was included with the appliers I had previously purchased from a popular creator, I discovered I am unable to adjust the hue of the eyeshadows or lipsticks.  Most makeup is too dark to my liking, and I love the option of being able to adjust the hue in my master hud of my mesh head.  Unless something changes, I will be sticking with appliers for all my makeup needs.

Changes are coming to Classic Cougar Style as well.  I have an abundance of quotes, sayings, poems, and the like that are collecting dust over at Pinterest that I intend to implement in my posts.  Some are funny, and others are downright hilarious.  There are irreverent ones and a few that may push the envelope, along with many that are thought-provoking.  Stay tuned.

So far this year, I have spent less and less at events, and most of what I have spent has been on home and garden items.  Many, many times, I have skipped events entirely as very little has inspired me to let loose of my lindens clothing-wise.  Starting in 2020, I have decided to showcase more of what is in my closet versus what is available at events.

My first life has become even more complicated these days.  While I take care of my youngest grandchild, who is almost two now, my mother has been residing with us since the middle of August.  She is relatively independent, even for one who is wheelchair-bound, but she still requires assistance. Needless to say, I am spending more time AFK or logged out completely.  In the coming months, I hope to find a bit more spare time to devote to my blog and photography.

The month of November is concentrated on changing Petit Lac Des Cygne over to a winter environment.  This is a first for me as I am not that much of a fan when it comes to winter.  It will take all of November for the change over as I stated above, my first is very busy right now.
