When I opened the box from MSS (Me Sew Sexy) for the On9 event and spied the ad for the Peacock Gacha I immediately was reminded of the movie “Gypsy“, a musical retelling of the life of Gypsy Rose Lee, the Queen of Burlesque stateside. I have included a clip of the real Gypsy Rose Lee here and one of Natalie Woods portraying her in the most popular movie musical about her life here. My mother’s love of musicals thankfully rubbed off her, onto me and I have passed it on to my daughters.

Nanika’s ink Flora for this round of On9 pairs well with the feathers and I am showing off the Kunglers Aphrodite earrings again. I did say in my last post they would be a timeless addition to your closet…*winks

My inspiration…

The parasol is by AMITIE and available at the current round of On9. The one I am using above has no pose in it and is included along with an assortment of stand alone poses and more parasols with poses built-in. The hairstyle is MEI by EMO-tions and available at On9 as well as the ink Zara by Nanika.

In regular wind light I use for everyday the parasol is opaque. It wasn’t until I turned on all the bells and whistles I use for photos that the parasol became this lovely sheer version. I fell in love with the effect and decided to use this for my Hump Day post. Have a good one! Be kind to one another. TWMA♥
