The above quote along with five others that pertain to style and fashion can be found on my profile inworld.  These are quotes that keep me grounded and focused when shopping for anything in Second Life, and 1st life too.

I recently did a thorough cleaning of my closet in 2nd (which I do a couple times every year),  hanging on to those pieces I felt were classic in their overall design, and that I would wear again and again.  It made no difference if it was standard mesh, fit mesh, or mesh made specifically for my body.  If it was still relevant to me, I kept it and packed up the rest.

According to the properties menu, I acquired the above gown on March 3, 2013.  That was five years ago.  Today I’d put this gown up against any of the recently purchased gowns I’ve bought, or for that matter any new release on the grid. It’s still current, and a elegant work of art.  And still available in store.

The hairstyle by Vanity Hair is another keeper.  Purchased November of 2012 it was one of the first mesh hairs I ever bought.  At the time I thought it elegant and classic in style.  My opinion has not changed.  Classic pieces stand the test of time… Every time.
