Life takes you down many paths, but my favorite ones lead to the beach.

They say Labor Day signals the end of summer. I don’t think so. I have until September 22. So there! Sticks my tongue out. I thrive in warm weather and not looking forward to gray, gloomy days of winter. Fourteen days left of summer, and I am going to make the most of them. Be kind to one another. TWMA♥

She Who Loves The Beach

No words can express the depth of her contentment as she walks along the beach. As the waves lap against the shores they create the rhythm of her life. Balmy breezes kiss her sun-bronzed skin, and she wonders… could there ever be a greater destiny than to be born with a love for the treasures of the sea? Here she is home.

Surfer’s Bay: Have a listen

I was born under the sign of Aquarius, so it should come as no surprise I have an affinity for water. My region Little Swan Lake is located in the mountains, and while peaceful, it is nowhere near the ocean. When the sound of waves kissing the shoreline beckons me, I head to Surfer’s Bay. It’s a beautiful region, with numerous areas for photo opportunities. One can usually find me sitting quietly on a lounger near the water’s edge listening to the relaxing soundscape.

Imagine my surprise when Duncan Blackburn, owner of Surfer’s Bay IM’d me asking if I would be the September Bay Girl. I about fell out of my lounger. Me? Of course, I said yes. As I had never posed for anyone, I was apprehensive about doing a photoshoot, but it turned out to be a pleasant experience. The photo above was taken by me a few days later.

There is much to see and do at Surfer’s Bay. Instead of talking about it, I include the website, and you can read at your leisure. Better yet, stop by and see for yourself, and if you see me lounging, don’t be afraid to say hi.
