A Manifesto For A Simple Life: Eat less, move more. Buy less, make more. Stress less, laugh more. Feel blessed, love more. Find a quiet spot every day and BREATHE… Preferably in a vineyard.
The Vineyard is shaping up well. I took apart the river edge since I wasn’t satisfied with how it looked at first. Now that I’m reworking it, I feel better about the outcome, even though it’s taking more time than I expected. It should be finished by spring.
Behind it all is Poured Decisions. It’s a mix of a bar, meets wine tasting, meets stone-fired pizza, and more. You can sit and enjoy your favorite drink, read a book, or just listen to music. The sounds are relaxing too. I’ll leave the rest as a surprise. When ‘A River Runs Through It’ opens, you can explore everything for yourself.
Be kind to one another. Find joy in all that you do. Till we meet again♥
BEWARE, I RIDE HORSES. Which means I own pitchforks, have the strength to haul hay, have the guts to scream at a half ton animal after being kicked. YOU, will NOT be a problem.
From left to right: Antares, Rigel, Mera, Altair, and Aldebaran
It seems like ages ago that I started breeding ABC horses. I began with two horses, and four years later, I had over 300. My pride and joy were four of my thoroughbreds, perfectly matched. Their mother, Mera, was and is still a favorite. I named the horses after the stars. Antares, Rigel, Altair, and Aldebaran. Their names are from the movie Ben-Hur, a favorite of mine. So, when I found out that ABC had left Second Life without notice, and horses were disappearing right and left, I decided not to put out my beloved Thoroughbreds; instead, I bought a Teegle Andalusion and made copies to replicate my favorites. Antares, Rigel, Altair, and Aldebaran are again in Second Life and perfectly matched. Mera, their mother, has a slight difference in her coat and markings. Their home is a five-stall stable from Roost Homes that I have completed decorating. It blends well with the Grand Victorian I am working on.
A River Runs Through It is taking shape nicely. Half the vineyard is pretty much complete. The potager is complete, along with the stable. A few chickens, ducks, and a fox make their home on A River Runs Through It. Oh, and my two original Meeroos, Sable and Fleur, keep me entertained whilst I work on the region. Storm, my Teegle Wolf, is out and keeping watch over all. There is a thoroughbred placed out in the stable field that I will show off at a later date. He is gorgeous.
All is well in my world these days. I am blessed.
Be kind to one another. Find joy in all that you do. Till we meet again♥
