All horses deserve, at least once in their life, to be loved by a little girl…
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce to you Kat, a very precocious seven-year old resident of Second Life. Kat is my little sister and has lived with me on Lost Horizon for a year and a half now. It was no easy decision to bring a child avatar into Second Life, and an even harder decision to let her step out into the light of day and let her own little personality shine. But it’s high time she did.
Kat loves being outdoors and playing with all the animals on Lost Horizon. She loves twirly dresses, drawing, painting, reading books, listening to all kinds of music and riding her beloved pony Daisy’s Duke. The little stinker is also very good with a bow. Of course, I taught her everything she knows 🙂 .
While I understand not all residents are receptive to children in Second Life, Kat is here to stay and she will be the first to tell you “Deal with it. I am not going anywhere.” While I am very protective of Kat, the overall response has been positive when introducing her to friends and residents.
Not to say Kat does not come with some limitations, specifically clothing limitations. There is not a lot of mesh out there on the grid for a child avatar of her size, not that I have found anyway. But Kat and I will not be deterred as we both love a good challenge. We vow to look under every nook and cranny to bring you the best on the grid in little girls clothing and accessories. In the meantime, Kat has a slew of system clothing that is of heirloom quality hanging in her closet, and we have found a few pieces of mesh that we both have ooohed and ahhhhed over. We even purchased a mesh body for her and look forward to trying it on for size.
Kat and I would also welcome any and all landmarks to children’s stores you may have, or know of. Landmarks for accessories such as hair, shoes of course lol, and jewelry are welcomed as well, and any and all regions that are child friendly.
Kat loves to cheese for the camera, so expect to see her every now and again dealing with many aspects of a child’s life.
Have a blessed week and be kind to one another. TWMA 🙂

Glad to see such a post Cougar. Often we keep our child avatars hidden away due to the comments and responses by those who don’t understand about escaping reality for just a moment and finding the time to simply rejoice in the act of “play”.
And Kat it is lovely to meet you. Daisy’s Duke is a beautiful horse and maybe one day you can come play with a precious but rather precocious four year old girl named Mysti who has been a part of my SL life for the past six years. (Guess I just outed my own child avatar now.. laughs).
Yay! Step out into the light lol. It’s fun! hugs PB♥

She’s cute Cougar… we’ll definitely have to get the girls together as we talked about.. have a great Tuesday!
I am looking forward to that Spunk. I have enlarged the children’s wing on my home and window shopping for furniture and outdoor play equipment.
Children’s wing eh? Love it! My little rascal is quite energetic.. chuckles. 🙂
I see tea and dress up parties in the future 🙂
