As I work on the garden, the garden works on me.
I had just finished all the texturing on the house when I noticed a shutter was missing on the back. No big deal, right? I thought it was buried in the house, and I’ll pull it out. Boy, was I wrong? Not thinking, I went in without editing unlink. Big mistake. Huge. The windows, the staircase, and a few walls were attached to that single shutter. I tried to fix it, and I made it worse. I deleted all my work and replaced it with a new original copy, then proceeded to retexture the build. I should have my head examined, but I love the overall look of the house and the floor plan. I am no quitter. The silver lining in all of this is that I replaced some of the textures. I didn’t leave anything inside or out untouched. The house has new coats of paint inside and out, and I couldn’t be happier. I even have some of the rooms furnished. Yay me!
I decided to stop working on the house for now and focus on the outside. I have the stable completed, and work is coming along on the potager. The Winery is partially furnished, as is the barn where the wine is made. All the trees are planted at this time. There are lots of trees. The process of choosing flowers, grass, and shrubbery has begun.
I am not saying things won’t change. It’s a sure thing that I’ll change something, LOL. Just me being me.
