Don’t ask to me speak french but, the above quote translates to “Life is made of little happiness”, or my personal translation…”Simple pleasures are da stuff life is made of.”

Though it has only been a bit over a week since I first posted about the Cheeky Pea Summer Greenhouse, it feels more like a month.  As you know I had this concept in my mind and after several starts, stops and finally conferring with Henry my vision began to take shape.

Finding the correct plants that gave it a tropical feel along with hunting down planters to put them in was a major hurdle to overcome.  My fingers are sore from all the walking they did through marketplace but once I found what I was looking for the real work began and that was getting the size right.  After several failed attempts and Henry asking “Can the planters be made larger?” Subtle ain’t he?   I just scrapped the planter I was working on deciding to go big or go home.  BINGO!

There was an issue with plants fading in and out but removing the floors shadow prim seems to have fixed that little bug.   I could not find a fountain in the style I was looking for but was able to enlarge the one pictured and sink the first bowl into the floor to get the look I was after.  In the end the finished product is pretty much what I had visualized in the beginning.

There are several places to sit, have tea, a romantic dinner, maybe a cuddle or two and even dance.  You can opt not to hear music and instead listen to the birds and insects make happy sounds, which I think is one of the greatest simple pleasures of all.  Be kind to one another.  TWMA♥
